Learning from World-Renowned Scholars

I'm planning to watch one Great Minds lecture per week, summarize it, and post it on my blog. Great Minds started back in 2021 and new lectures are still being released, so there's a huge library of content out there. I kept telling myself I'd watch them eventually, but I was always too busy and never got around to it. So I figured posting my summaries on the blog would be a great way to spread the word about Great Minds. Hopefully it'll inspire others to check them out too.

There are plenty of brilliant scholars in Korea, but the people featured here are world-class experts recognized even in Korea. They share their expertise for free, watchable from anywhere — not watching feels like you're missing out. Just knowing a program like this exists is exciting, and honestly, EBS seems to deliver more value per license fee than KBS.

How do they manage to create a program like this when they only get 70 won out of the 2,500 won monthly license fee? It's not a lot of money, but you can really feel it being put to good use. I don't know how long Great Minds will keep going, but I definitely want to watch them all.

For those who want to look into it, I'm leaving some links where you can start watching right away. I hope you enjoy them too! It looks like full versions are only available for free on EBS.

Consult not your fears but your hopes and your dreams. Think not about your frustrations, but about your unfulfilled potential. Concern yourself not with what you tried and failed in, but with what it is still possible for you to do.
